Works where you already write

How it works

Three seconds, zero copy-paste between apps

  1. Select

The message you received or the draft you wrote, in any app.

  2. Press Ctrl+Space

TextPal's floating menu appears right where your cursor is.

  3. Pick the action

The result pastes over your selection or lands on your clipboard, your call with one click.

Actions

Six actions, a tone switch and a custom mode, one keystroke away

Fix grammar

Fixes mistakes without changing your tone. Works even if you mix Spanish and English in the same message, and you can see exactly what changed, your words struck through next to the correction.

Fix & Explain

Fixes your text and shows every change side by side: what you wrote struck through in red, the correction in blue, and one short sentence on why it was wrong. So next time you nail it yourself.

Reply to this

Select the message you received and TextPal drafts the reply, in the language they wrote you in.

Reply to email

Drafts the full reply to an email, greeting and sign-off included, in the language they wrote you in.

Formal or informal tone

A switch in the menu: formal (for clients and bosses) or informal (for everyday chats). It sets the register of your replies, your grammar fixes and your translations (tú vs usted, tu vs vous).

Translate

Pick the target language in the menu (15 in total, from Spanish to Chinese) and it translates whatever you selected, whatever language it is written in.

Summarize

That endless email, in 2 to 4 sentences.

Custom mode

Grammar not enough? Open Custom and tick what you want: Clearer, Short, Simple, List, Softer or Greeting. Each one works on its own, so if your message is already fine and you just want it shorter, that is one tick. It never adds facts, numbers or promises you did not write. Works on your grammar fixes and your replies, and combines with the formal or informal tone.

Every action explains itself: point at it in the menu and a short description tells you what it does. TextPal's interface comes in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and every action works with text in any language, whichever one you wrote in.

Your pet

Work with company

Your pet keeps you company while TextPal thinks. And if you snap a photo of your real pet, TextPal creates its pixel version: it roams your screen, you toss it cookies, and it goes to sleep when you say so.

Your pet works

Two things your pet does for you

Beyond keeping you company while you write, your pet handles two things you would otherwise have to remember or configure by hand.

Break time

You pick the interval and how long it lasts. When it is time, your pet fills the screen with your message and a countdown. You can still work through it if you really cannot stop, and Esc closes it.

🟢

Keep me online

You step away from the desk and you do not want the PC to sleep or your chat to mark you away. Your pet chases a cookie around the screen for as many minutes as you choose, or with no limit. Touch the mouse and it pauses on its own, so it never fights you for the cursor.

Both live in your pet menu. Break time remembers your settings. Keep me online never saves anything: it ends when you say so, or when the time runs out.

Questions

What you probably want to know

What happens to my text? Who sees it?

Only the text you select is sent, encrypted, to the AI (Claude, by Anthropic) for processing, and only when you press the shortcut. It is not stored on any server of ours and is not used to train models.

Does it really work in any app?

Yes. TextPal uses the Windows selection and clipboard, so it works in anything that allows copy and paste: Teams, Outlook, Word, browsers, editors, whatever you use.

Do I need to know Spanish? Or English?

No. TextPal detects the language of your text and responds in the right one. The app menu is available in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

What does the 1,500 uses per month limit mean?

Each action you run counts as one use. 1,500 per month is about 70 per working day, more than a heavy user spends, and it resets monthly. Very long texts (over 4,000 characters) count as 2 or 3 uses, and you can create up to 10 pets per month.

How do I get the program and the license?

The download button sends you to the Microsoft Store, you install TextPal from there like any other app, already signed with no Windows warnings. When you subscribe, your license key arrives by email instantly (the receipt is sent by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor). If you don't see it within a few minutes, check your spam or promotions folder. To activate it, open TextPal, select the key in the email and press Ctrl+Space: it detects it and activates itself. You can also paste it by hand from TextPal's menu, under "Activate license". One license activates one PC.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Anytime, self-service: go to app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders, sign in with your purchase email (a login link arrives, no password needed) and cancel there. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

What if another program already uses Ctrl+Space?

You can change it in two clicks. Some programs claim Ctrl+Space (VS Code uses it for autocomplete, and several Chinese and Japanese keyboards do too). Open TextPal from the system tray, go to Settings and pick another shortcut, for example Ctrl+Q or Alt+Space. It saves and works right away, no restart needed.
